Maylieng is a South Florida native, who has recently relocated to Orlando, FL to pursue a B.S. in Psychology at the University of Central Florida. The Boss Chick Dance Workout helped to fill that void and rekindled her passion for dance. Maylieng attended the Miami/Broward classes for two years before becoming a BCDW Head Instructor in December of 2015. She is dancing again at the collegiate level as a Starlet Knights Dancer, performing alongside the Marching Knights at UCF football games. This North Carolina native grew up in a musically gifted family. At a young age she realized she had a passion for dancing and stayed involved in dance teams, cheerleading and drill teams. As she entered adulthood, she was told there was no future in dancing. She attended college and entered into the engineering field. The burning passion for dancing never left her. She always wondered "what if". One day she saw a posting for the Boss Chick Dance Workout coming to her new home of Dallas Texas. She attended the class looking for a great workout and left as a Certified Boss Chick Dance Workout Instructor. Her passion for fitness has grown tremendously and she became a Certified Personal Trainer as well. She is grateful for meeting the talented Simone Sobers and helping to shine the light that was within her all along.
